If there was ever a book that flows like a conversation, is universally resonant and stays with you long after you have finished reading it - it is Maa Maa Black Sheep by Seema Tiwari. The complex emotional motherhood landscape is beautifully depicted. Picked it up on a long haul flight and was unable to put it down until I finished reading it. Hoping there will be a sequel soon, and perhaps even a prequel.

Bought this for my teen daughter. This is her review.... From the moment I picked up this book, I was immediately hooked. The very first scene had so much happening, but it was so interesting and it laid a great foundation for the rest of the book. All of the characters were so well-written and they were dynamic, which made so many of the shocking twists and turns not feel outlandish at all. It felt as though every five pages, there was a mind bending plot twist, but every single one made sense, and I was on the edge of my seat. This book was packed with action, and the ending was totally unexpected. 10/10 would read again!
