She worked as an Associate Creative Director (Content) in a reputed Digital Agency in Mumbai, India, till she left her cozy home, her creatively-fulfilling job, and her beautiful country in 2012 to join her husband in his American odyssey.
The wait to be eligible, and to apply and secure an H4EAD (work permit) was a long, ardent process. So, in the meantime, she published her book of poems in Hindi in India (Bura Na Mano Democrazy Hai), raised multicultural awareness as a Founding Member of the Multilingual Advisory Council at her daughter’s elementary school, and wrote, rewrote, and polished her debut novel – “Maa Maa Black Sheep” in English, and in Hindi (Kumaata).
A self-confessed K-drama lover who lives to write and daydreams about book-to-screen adaptations of her stories. After securing her work permit, she penned a five-part American audio dramedy called, “Love Thy Neighbor” for Headfone App that was released in December, 2023.
Currently she is penning, and editing her second novel in English that is shaping out to be a laugh-riot. And she already has its sequel up her sleeve.
